About

Phudge Design was founded in 2009 by Andrew Gordon, based in Newport, South Wales. Andrew graduated with a 1st Class BA Hons in Animation from University of Wales Newport in 2007.

Phudge Design has created icons and training materials for Microsoft and has had animation work shown on television channels BBC2, BBC3 and S4C.

Phudge Design recently worked with Sky Sports News presenter John-Paul Davies and is working on other sports related projects.

In 2010, we caught the attention of authors Fintan Coyle (creator of TV's The Weakest Link) and Dan Louw (North One Television) for iTwit: Fake Apps for Genuine Idiots [John Blake Publishing, 2010].

iTwit was featured in The Sun and also on discussed on national radio. The book is currently selling through it’s second print run.

Andrew's graduate film, Bread, was also shortlisted at the Anifest 2008 Animation Festival.

Phudge Design continues to grow by working with Edinburgh-Fringe comedians, celebrities, publishers, all across the UK and abroad and also contributes to Paperfold Media’s blog occasionally.
